Prompt Taxation & Accounting (formerly known as Prompt Tax Returns) has been operating in Boronia since 1990 when Jack Richardson established the practice.

The practice was owned by Jack Richardson from 1990 to 2007 and operated from his office based at 229 Dorset Road.  During this period the practice established an excellent reputation for client service and professional expertise.  Jack had grown the client base to a point that enabled his two sons Anthony Richardson and Matthew Richardson the opportunity to join the practice in July 2007. During this expansion the practice relocated from its former home of 229 Dorset Road to a much larger office based at its current home of Suite 3, 84 Boronia Road.

The expansion and introduction of additional services also saw the practice change its name from Prompt Tax Returns to Prompt Taxation & Accounting.
Jack continued to work in the practice from July 2007 on a part-time basis during the busy tax time period, and in 2014 officially retired from the practice.

Currently the practice has two full-time qualified accountants and two part-time administrative assistants, and continues to provide an exceptional service to its many clients, many of whom have been clients since the inception of the practice in 1990.
